The Ubbink 7504642 Pool Filter Set 400 with Pump Included TP 50 is designed to handle the filtration of different types of pools. This pump and filtration system is designed as a low-cost maintenance option to keep your pool water pristine.
The principle of sand filtration is as follows: the pool water is drawn out of the pool (at the connection point to the skimmer/vacuum cleaner) by the pump and then sent via the 6-way valve, depending on the type, to the tank where the filter medium (sand in this case) is located. Under pressure, the water passes through the sand. This removes most of the impurities before the water passes back through the filter and back to the valve via the collection pipe, and is finally returned to the pool. The pool filter set 400 has 6 functions: winter, filtration, backwash, rinsing, circulation and off.
The set includes a TP 50 pump with a maximum flow rate of 6.0 m³/h.

Consult your local electrician for further information. - All electrical work must be carried out by qualified electricians only. - Never use an extension cord to connect the pump to the electrical mains. - The distance between the pump and the pool must be greater than 2 metres. - The electricity source (electrical socket) must be at least 3.5 metres from the pool. - The filtration group pump must be powered by a circuit-separating transformer or by a circuit including a residual current device (RDD) whose rated operating differential current does not exceed 30 mA (class I pool pump). - If the electrical cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person in order to avoid any hazard. - Never lift or pull the pump by the power cable. - Always switch off the power supply before disconnecting the power cable. Never work on the pump without first making sure that the power supply has been disconnected. - This pump is not suitable for installation or operation in damp locations or underwater. Do not install it in swimming pools and do not drop it into water. - The pump is suitable for pumping water that does not exceed a temperature of 50°C. - Do not operate the pump if it is not connected to a water source, as this will cause damage to its repair. - The pump must not be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or by persons with insufficient knowledge and experience, unless a person responsible for their safety supervises such persons or unless such persons have received adequate instructions before using the product.
